On 6 April 2009 a strong earthquake hit the city of L'Aquila, in the central Abruzzo region of Italy, leaving 308 dead and tens of thousand homeless. 4 years after in the historical center of the city, founded in 13th century and where 30.000 people used to live, few signs of reconstructions could be seen and nobody still come back to live there. On the other hand the effects of the of abandonment add up to the destruction of the quake
