Garbage city, Mansheet Nasser, is a slum in Cairo inhabited by a community of about 50.000 Christians Copts mainly working in the activity of recycling the garbage. The Zabelleen, garbage pickers, collect the garbage of the whole city of Cairo and bring it to Garbage city where it were differentiated to be sold as raw material or recycled in the slum. Despite the unhealthy condition of life and work, the workers involved in this activity can earn until 60 egyptian pound a day (6 euro), more than public servants minimum wage.
